UK to Spain removals,
without the chaos.

One team handles the whole UK→Spain move — the survey, the written quote, the customs paperwork, the regional bureaucracy at the Spanish end, and the door-to-door drive. We run this route all year round, so nothing about it is improvised.

What the job actually looks like

The photographs show the parts of a move people rarely see: the survey, the inventory, the load and the kerbside collection. The written quote comes out of that survey, so it reflects what is really moving.

Every part of the move
coordinated from one desk.

You get one named coordinator for the whole job. They file the customs paperwork, book the crossing, brief our UK crew and our Spanish destination team, and tell you where things stand — so you are never chasing an update or repeating yourself to someone new.

You pack the kitchen, we do the rest

The paperwork stack has a running order and every item has a date it has to be in by. We keep that sequence and tell you only the bits that need you — a signature, an inventory check, a key handover.

One route, five stages

UK pickup, Channel crossing, France overland, the Spanish border, then regional delivery. Your written quote sets out all five and what each one depends on.

The paperwork nobody warns you about

The UK export declaration, the Spanish change-of-residence relief, NIE and padrón. We file the customs side ourselves and tell you which of the Spanish registrations you have to turn up for in person.

A Spanish-speaking team
at the far end

The hardest part of this route is not the driving — it is the Spanish end. Our destination teams speak the language, know which autonomía wants which form, and have dealt with the particular building, lift and parking problems of their own region before.

Pickup anywhere in the UK

We collect from any UK address — city flat, village cottage, farm with a gravel track. The survey works out the access, the vehicle and the crew size before anything is quoted, so the lorry that turns up can actually do the job.

Customs, filed by us

The UK export declaration and the Spanish customs claim for change-of-residence relief are ours to file. NIE, padrón and residencia are yours to attend — we tell you the order to do them in and what to bring.

One inventory, both ends

Our UK crew loads and drives your goods south. Our Spanish destination team delivers them, working from the same inventory and access notes, so nothing gets re-explained at the Spanish door. Vehicles and pets travel with specialist partners we coordinate.

Which crossing suits your move

Eurotunnel-and-overland or a direct ferry — the better answer depends on where in Spain you are going and what you are sending. We say which we would use and why.

Dates that hold

Survey, paperwork deadlines and the delivery window are set together, not one at a time. Your written quote carries the transit window for your specific route.

Typical moves we run
— and what made each one tricky

These are composite examples written by us to show the kind of planning a move to Spain needs. They are not customer reviews and do not describe named clients.

Bristol → Estepona, Costa del Sol

Family

A family of four leaving a Victorian semi for an apartment on a gated urbanización.

What was involved
A full-house move with packing by our crew, plus a few pieces held in storage in Spain because the new apartment was smaller than the house they were leaving.
What was tricky
The urbanización only admits service vehicles with notice, its internal road is too tight for a full-size lorry, and the comunidad requires the lift to be protected and booked for the delivery.
How it was handled
The destination team contacted the administrador de fincas once the survey was done, booked the lift and the gate, and transferred the load to a smaller vehicle at the entrance to the estate. The surplus furniture went into the partner depot near Málaga until the family decided what to keep.

Edinburgh → Bilbao

Retired couple

A retired couple moving from a top-floor tenement flat to an apartment near the old quarter of Bilbao.

What was involved
A modest full load, mostly books, pictures and a few good pieces of furniture, travelling on the Portsmouth to Bilbao sailing rather than through France.
What was tricky
At the Edinburgh end, a long common stair and a parking suspension from the council. At the Bilbao end, a street with restricted vehicle access and set hours for loading.
How it was handled
Our UK crew carried down the stair and loaded from the suspended bay. After the crossing, the destination team brought the goods in by small van within the permitted loading hours and carried them up from there.

Manchester → Madrid

Professional

A professional relocating for a job in Madrid, moving the contents of a one-bedroom city-centre flat.

What was involved
A partial load on a consolidated run, with the employer paying for the move, and a car following separately with our vehicle-transport partner.
What was tricky
The residence card had not yet been issued when the goods were due to arrive, and the new flat sits inside Madrid's low-emission zone, which a UK-plated car cannot enter without registering first.
How it was handled
The relief claim went in supported by the employment contract and the residence application. The car was registered on the city's system for foreign vehicles before it was driven in, and the move was invoiced to the employer.

Cardiff → Rural A Coruña, Galicia

Returning family

A family with Galician roots moving to a stone house in the countryside outside A Coruña.

What was involved
A full-house move on the Plymouth to Santander ferry, with the onward drive west along the coast into Galicia.
What was tricky
The house has no street name or number, only a parish and a hamlet, and the last stretch is a narrow lane between stone walls that no lorry could use.
How it was handled
The survey collected a map pin and photographs of the lane from a relative, the destination team confirmed the approach in advance, and the final leg ran in a smaller vehicle shuttling from the nearest road wide enough for the lorry.
