Full-house removal is the bulk of what we do on the Spain corridor. A typical full-house move is a three- or four-bedroom property with the usual furniture, soft furnishings, kitchen equipment, books, and personal effects. Our crew loads in the UK and takes the consignment through the Channel crossing and south through France. Our destination team in Spain makes the delivery, unloading against the same inventory, which is checked line by line against your survey notes.
The full-house quote covers door-to-door transit, the customs paperwork at both ends (the UK export declaration, and the Spanish import declaration that claims transfer-of-residence relief with the Agencia Tributaria), all-risks goods-in-transit insurance, and the destination handling for whichever Spanish autonomous community you are heading to. Optional extras (full-pack, custom crates, climate-controlled storage either side, Balearic/Canary ferry) are itemised on the quote.
The move is not passed along a chain of anonymous subcontractors. How a full-house move actually runs
A full house starts with a survey, not a form. Someone comes to the property, walks every room including the loft and the garage, and writes down what is actually there, because the gap between what people estimate and what a house contains is consistently large, and it is the gap that wrecks schedules.
From that survey comes one written figure covering the door-to-door move, the customs filing and the insurance. On loading day our UK crew wraps and loads in a sequence worked out from the inventory, so that what comes off first at the far end is what you need first. The crew then drives the consignment south. The same inventory travels with it, and it is what our Spanish destination team unloads against.
Access at the Spanish end is the part that catches people. An urbanización with a portería wants notice and often a reserved lift slot; a town-centre piso may have a stairwell the furniture originally went up in pieces. The destination team checks all of that before the lorry is anywhere near it, which is why the inventory and the access notes travel together.
